I had a list of things for her to do during her visit to Sevilla-- so we got right to it and stared the day with Churros and Chocolate--which Kelly enjoyed very much!
Then we walked through el centro to the Alcazar Palace. I had already visited but loved it so much that I wanted to bring Kelly there! Plus, all the trees are starting to bloom so it was beautiful!
Kelly mentioned that there are no American brands in Rome-- at all. In Sevilla we have 3 Starbucks on the same street...but what she was really craving was Dunkin Donuts. So, we went and got iced lattes from DD!
Then we went home for a big yummy lunch with Virginia, Francisco, Carlos and Gema. Francisco gave us the light show of his living room. I before mentioned that he turned his living room into a discoteca many years ago..well today he busted out the music and colored lights and the lights changed color based on the music... it was so cool.
I then took Kelly to the Plaza de Espana and Parque Maria Luisa where we walked around for a while. While I had my one class today another one of our friends took her to the shopping center and el corte ingles to show her around.
After my class we went to las setas--which I hadn't visited yet and it was super cool It's a mushroom type very modern structure in the middle of el centro. It's 3 euro to get to the top and that includes a free drink of tinto de verano.
After las setas we went to cien for a pre-dinner snack! Kelly really enjoyed the montadito and then we went back for dinner with Virginia.
After dinner I wanted to show Kelly a little of the sevillan night life, so we went to calle alfalfa with some other AKPsi friends and explored the bar scene.
So glad that Kelly is here!!
