A day in the kitchen with Francisco!

On this fine Sunday, I learned some very valuable life long skills! Mainly, how to make the best Sangria you will ever taste.

I spent my morning studying and once Francisco arrived I headed straight to the kitchen! I watched and took notes as Francisco crafted the perfect concoction of Sangria! SO GOOD. Then he taught me how to make a classic dish from his hometown. The dish is called Migas and it basically a fried bread type of food--so I obviously loved it.

Everyone came over for lunch! Gema y Carlos, Paco y Monse! It was a full house and it was so fun to have everyone together! A really enjoyable day!

A new spanish phrase that Francisco taught me: Piripi -- entre bien y alegre... basically the spanish word for buzzed or having the perfect amount of alcohol in ya!

My afternoon was spent studying at a cafe and then I came back for dinner with Virginia and Francisco! A delicious day of learning new how to make drinks and food!
